Privacy Notice
1. Who we are
2. Information we collect
We may collect and use the following categories of personal information:
- Contact and identity information, such as your name, business email address, company and any other contact details you provide.
- Enquiry and business information, including the content of messages, requirements, correspondence, proposals and information you choose to provide about your organisation or project.
- Client and Value Hub information, including account details, access permissions, project records, documents, communications, invoices and transaction records relevant to services you request or receive.
- Website and analytics information, such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from network information, device/browser information and interaction data where analytics is enabled in accordance with your cookie choice.
- Technical and security information reasonably required to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website and authenticated services.
Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details or special-category personal information through the initial Contact form unless RaceForValue has specifically asked you to provide information through an appropriate secure route.
3. How we use personal information and our lawful bases

4. Marketing
The general Contact form is not a marketing subscription. Contacting RaceForValue, requesting information or accessing a resource does not automatically enrol you in marketing communications. Where electronic marketing requires consent, RaceForValue will request it separately.
5. Who we share information with
Our website is hosted by Hostinger. Enquiry forms and the Value Hub/CRM use SuiteDash. Google Analytics 4 processes website usage information only when you enable Analytics. These providers receive the information needed for their respective functions; an enquiry may create or update a contact record and send enquiry confirmation and internal notification emails.
6. International transfers
Some service providers may process personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, RaceForValue uses an applicable lawful transfer mechanism or relies on another permitted basis. Information about relevant safeguards can be requested through the Contact form.
7. How long we keep information
- General enquiries that do not become an engagement: normally up to 24 months after the last substantive contact.
- Client, contractual, project and financial records: normally up to 6 years after the end of the relevant engagement or financial period, unless a longer period is required for a particular legal, regulatory or claims reason.
- Value Hub account information: for the duration of the account and then in accordance with the relevant client/resource record retention period.
- GA4 analytics data: event and user data retention are configured to 14 months. Returning activity can reset the user-data retention period. Aggregated reports are not covered by this setting.
- Cookie/consent preference records: the website remembers your choice in browser local storage for 180 days, then asks again.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to:
- ask for access to your personal information;
- ask for inaccurate information to be corrected;
- ask for information to be erased in certain circumstances;
- ask for processing to be restricted in certain circumstances;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive certain information in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.
These rights are subject to legal conditions and exemptions. RaceForValue may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. Complaints
Please contact RaceForValue first if you have a concern about how your information has been handled. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection.
10. Changes to this notice
This notice will be reviewed when RaceForValue changes the way personal information is collected or used, introduces a material new website or Value Hub function, or where legal requirements change. The current version date will be shown on this page.
